Over the weekend, I decided to have a movie marathon starting with The Uninvited. I’m not sure what exactly attracted me to this movie, perhaps it was the cover art and the fact I haven’t really watched a decent thriller/drama style movie in a while.

The outline of the movie is Anna Rydell returns home to her sister (and best friend) Alex after a stint in a mental hospital, though her recovery is jeopardized thanks to her cruel stepmother, aloof father, and the presence of a ghost in their home.

As with most thrillers, there is usually an epic twist in the plot at some point. After watching this movie, The Others → which starred Nicole Kidman came to mind. I’ll think I’ll leave it at that, definitely check it out if you are into thrillers.
