Finally someone with half a brain at the TEN Network has decided that Channel 10’s current HD channel (which at the moment plays boring crap – who wants to watch Neighbours in HD?) will be converted into One HD, a 24 hour sports channel come April. However, they seem to already be airing NBA games on Mondays and Fridays, huzzah!
From what I have read, the sports mainly aired will be ones out of the US, which I don’t really mind watching as I’ve played quite a few of them. I think it’s a good move as I really can’t be bothered paying for cable tv which now has the same amount of advertisements as free-to-air. If only they’d get a licence to air the English Premier League, my life would be complete. You can view the schedule for Australia at the NBA website.
