Over the weekend I managed to watch RocknRolla, the latest flick from Guy Ritchie. You may have seen some of his previous films Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Revolver. They were all made up of simple, yet effective principles: comedy, drama and twists in the storyline.
When I heard a new movie of his was coming out I got pretty excited. There was an interesting cast lineup which I wasn’t aware of, Gerard Butler from 300, Ludachris (the rapper) and one of my other favourite actors Jeremy Piven from Entourage. The movie was as usual, in classic Guy Ritchie style.. the drama, unfolding twists in the story, but I think it was lacking a bit more of the comedic side as seen in the others. Either way, another good watch – check it out.

Call me vain but I just can’t look at Guy Ritchie the same way post-Madonna. Maybe it’s just a matter of time as far as Madonna’s victims go…I really like Sean Penn nowadays so maybe in ten years I’ll get back into him =p However I am looking forward to his upcoming Sherlock Holmes film with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law.
I didn’t even know he was with Madonna, I just focus on the movies hahaha.

Fuckin sikest movie… I love this director. The only thing is that all his movies have the same feel to them – the stories are original but the movies, actors and directing style doesnt really change… None the less I would watch this movie again!
